On second thought, I know other non korean asians that watch korean drama's ...also reading subtitles, they go to concerts and listen to the music...lol so I guess I don't have a problem afterall :P I like to call it being open minded.

I DARE you to watch either Boys before flowers or The1st shop of coffee prince...if those don't have an effect on you then give way lol. If you are a female I guarantee it will :)  BTW, they have different genre's but I stick to the comedy/romance most. They have other asian drama's like japanes, chinese, etc it's good if you want to learn about the culture or brush up on the language

There are plenty of drama sites but these are where I chill at : sites I watch on. www.mysoju.com, www.viki.com, www.dramafever.com  . These are for the KD heads ~Cheers~

Funny story...

Annyonghaseyo :) and negative, that isn't the only hangual (korean) word I know. So, last thursday I found myself at a korean restaurant in china town ottawa, there were 2 female waitress serving that evening. I told them what i wanted (bulgogi) with the side dishes yeah...so im eating and i run out of kimchi, i asked my waitress to get me more, she told me sure but it would take some time cuz they had to go get some more right. so 5mins go by, nothing. after 10mins im thinking ok my meal experience is being messed with cuz i want to enjoy my meal with kimchi. so I eye my waitress and she noticed that I still didnt have my kimchi, she starts speaking in hangul to the other female waitress, as they are talking, i start to laugh cuz I actually UNDERSTOOD what they were saying. *pause* If you know me, you'd know that I've been into KD's for about 2 yrs now, actually wanted to go teach english in S.K so I started watching it to learn a bit of the culture and the language. *continued*  FastFwrd to that night. so im giggling and laughing cuz i understood what they were saying. so finally they bring my kimchi and i said "you gave it to the wrong table huh" she looks at me like OH SH!t how did i know that. She asked me if i spoke the language i tell her no but i watch alot of kd's..she was impressed. asked me what kd i was watching now, I told her BIG and I DO I DO. we chatted it up for a bit more before i left. I had to give myself a pat on the back tho, to actually understand a language that is not easy if you weren't born/raised there or lived there for some yrs. wahhh!!

btw the convo they had went something like this:

W1: where is the kimchi for the customer
W2: I gave it to them already
W1: *looking at my table* where is it, i dont see it
W2: over here
W1: you gave it to the wrong table
W2: oh, oops
